Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of PayCadence at paycadence.com. The service is operated by KyCaseWorks LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Delaware ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. The service

PayCadence is a bill due-date reminders by text service. PayCadence does one narrow thing: it reminds you about due dates you entered yourself. It is not a lender, not a debt relief service, and not a budgeting product that asks for your bank credentials.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your password confidential. One person or organization per account unless you are on a plan that explicitly includes multiple seats.

3. Text messages and consent

SMS alerts are optional. If you opt in, you confirm that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and that you agree to receive automated messages as described in our SMS Terms. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of using the service. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

4. Acceptable use

You may not enter a phone number you do not control, use the service to send messages to anyone other than yourself, attempt to access other users' data, scrape the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Paid plans and billing

Paid plans bill monthly in advance. A 14-day free trial of paid features is available and no card is required to start. You may cancel at any time from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law.

6. No professional advice

PayCadence provides software and notifications only. Nothing on the service is legal, financial, tax, employment or educational advice. We do not lend money, service or settle debt, negotiate with creditors, or guarantee any employment, income or educational outcome.

7. Third-party information

Some content shown in the product originates with third parties such as employers, providers or platforms. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but do not warrant that any third-party listing, schedule, amount or date is correct or current. Verify anything that matters directly with the source.

8. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Message delivery depends on carrier networks outside our control. You should not rely solely on a text message for a deadline that carries financial or legal consequence.

9. Intellectual property

The service, its software and its content are owned by KyCaseWorks LLC and licensed to you for use as described here. Data you enter remains yours and can be exported or deleted at any time.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, with notice where practical.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify KyCaseWorks LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the service or from your entry of a phone number you were not authorized to provide.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with a new date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
